Website Access in Compatibility View

Internet Explorer 8 is a new release (r. date 3/18/2009). Although our website supports IE 8 enhanced capabilities, if you experience viewing problems on this site, we recommend that you switch to IE 7 (compatibility mode) to correct display problems such as misaligned text, images or text boxes, grid views.  This option is available on a per site basis and all other sites will continue to display with IE 8 functionality.  If you are in a screen that doesn’t have IE 8 functionality issues, you can simply click the ‘Compatibility View’ button again to return to IE 8 functionality.  Compatibility View is selected by clicking the icon shown in the image below.

You can maintain a list within IE 8 for sites that should be displayed in Compatibility View:

- At the Command Bar, select Tools

- Compatibility

- View Settings

At View Settings you can add and remove sites from this list.   There are also options for viewing all websites and intranet sites in Compatibility View if you so choose.
